Hi there Everyone,
We have now uploaded some photographs of the frosts South-East Queensland experience on the morning of the 12th of June 2009. The temp was actually still 0.0° when these photos were taken.
We received the lowest temperature of -0.4° which was the coldest morning of the year so far.

We have added a new catagory in the Photography section for the extensive floods that effect South-East Queensland and North-East NSW between the 19th-21st of May 2009.
An upper trough and three surface lows dumped hundreds of millimetres of Rain onto the Sunshine, Gold and Tweed Coasts in Mid-May 2009. Hi there everyone!
Thanks for coming back and taking a look at South Brisbane Storms. There have also been updated additions to the photo galleries of the past two months occurances, which has been very infrequent.
January was a very quiet month thunderstorm wise, and the trend did carry into February. There were only a couple of oppurtunities to take photos with the limited thunderdays available.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback for this website from everyone!
We are really suprised and the amount of interest others have when it comes to Thunderstorms. Perhaps this is curiousity of how they work (how I started out) and also thier unpredictable nature.
